hello! I am a fourth year undergraduate neuroscience major at the University of Virginia in the lab of Jay Hirsh. I am currently in the middle of the neuroscience doctoral program application process for fall 2020 matriculation.
My research focuses on identifying the genetic origins of neurodegeneration, specifically in Parkinson’s Disease, in several animal models. Additionally, I am interested in neurodevelopment – in particular the development of neural circuits – and aberrant circuit activity as it relates to neurodegeneration.
